How do I get started?
2
Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form, someone will reach out to you within 24 hrs and walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.
Do you take insurance? How much will I pay?
What about Self-Pay?
3
Yes, we are in network with most major insurances including BCBS/FL Blue, Aetna, and Cigna. Our fully licensed therapists are also able to accept United. We are happy to offer a super-bill for out of network visits.
Cost per sessions varies greatly based on your individual insurance plan, some may have a small co-pay, while others may have a deductible to be met. We encourage all clients to call their insurance company and ask for their “outpatient mental health benefits” to confirm their coverage and cost prior to their first session.
Our self-pay rate is $125 per session with our registered interns and $150 per session with our fully licensed therapists. We are able to offer a sliding scale in some cases.
Why are some of your therapists called Interns?
4
The title intern can be a little confusing in the counseling world. It doesn’t mean someone is new to helping people. In fact, our interns have already completed their graduate education and are working toward the final supervised hours required for full independent licensure.
What makes our team especially unique is that many of our interns come to counseling after successful careers in other professions. Their backgrounds include law enforcement, military service, healthcare, education, and years of experience working in mental health agency settings. These experiences give them a deep understanding of life’s challenges, resilience, relationships, trauma, and personal growth.
Our interns are fully equipped to support clients through a wide range of concerns. They bring not only professional training but also real-world experience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others.
We are proud of the diverse experiences our clinicians bring to the therapy room and believe those experiences often enhance the care our clients receive.
