I offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can talk about your challenges. I specialize in Trauma-Informed therapy. My approach is collaborative and client-centered. I utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and selected somatic approaches. I use these evidenced based techniques along with mindfulness practices to help you learn how to regulate your emotions better, change your response to your trauma(s), change your negative thoughts, reduce your anxiety, reduce your depression, and help you build more coping skills so you can move into your future with more confidence.
For my education, I attended the University of California, Berkeley for my undergraduate degree with a major in Cognitive Science. I went on to Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida and completed their Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling. I completed my internship in the Tampa Bay area and focused on learning the therapy approaches for victims of trauma.

My career has centered on assisting trauma survivors, such as those affected by sexual abuse, incest, rape, emotional abuse, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, and abuse from individuals with avoidant personality disorder. I believe in guiding clients to recognize that they “are not broken” from the trauma and I help them to see their strengths and wholeness along their journey of healing. I am committed to providing therapy that is respectful of cultural differences and free from oppression, with a focus on supporting healing within marginalized communities. In therapy sessions with me, you can expect a practical, empathic approach that may include humor and elements of spirituality as we work together toward finding relief.
